King of Beasts

King of Beasts

This evil work is covered in thick black fur, and its corners are shaped into the likeness of beast paws that are used to keep the book closed, though they have no detrimental effects or locking ability other than to tightly close the book’s bindings.

The tome confers its powers upon its readers at a terrible price. By spilling the blood of a chaotic magical beast upon its pages the reader can invoke the powers of a demon lord worshiped by the ancient Badawi.

In exchange for its power, the book draws the reader closer to the entropic, dark entity bestowing these powers. Eventually bending them into a subservient tool.

Chashagra gave the book to you, entrusting you with its destruction. The blood of a Lawful Magical Beast can be used to turn the rituals upon themselves, burning the book away without bringing its terrible power to bear.

Despite Glarthobbalvot falling sway to the vile tomes whispers, with the aid of Assad Ashrif Asim the book was destroyed.
